Meika Hamisch has been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 1984 (MFC 18894) helping adults identify and resolve personal, marriage and family issues. She has been trained in a variety of techniques and models of the counseling/theraputic process for both traditional and alternative paths to healing. She offers The Work, as developed by Byron Katie, for any client who is interested. She has developed substance abuse programs for adolescents as well as parenting programs for adults. Meika has taught cross cultural counseling, counseling techniques and lead trainings in communication skills. She has served as Clinical Director and consultant for the California Youth Crisis Line. Meika is a member of the California Association for Marriage and Family Therapists.
